Privacy Policy

This policy describes how BlueMath ("we", "us") handles data when you use the BlueMath add-in for Microsoft Word and this website. The short version: your documents never leave your computer; we store only the minimum needed to run accounts and subscriptions.
1. Your documents stay local
All equation editing, rendering, and conversion (LaTeX, MathType, Word Math, exam tools) happens locally inside Microsoft Word on your device. The add-in does not upload, transmit, or store the content of your documents on any server.
2. Data we collect

3. Where data is stored
Account and subscription data are stored in Supabase (managed PostgreSQL). Access from the add-in and this website uses a public ("anon") key restricted by row-level security: you can only ever read or write your own rows. Administrative access is limited to the BlueMath operator.
Some preferences (language, fonts, cached configuration) are stored locally in your browser/Office storage on your device and are not transmitted to us.
4. What we do NOT do
- No advertising, no ad trackers, no analytics SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties.
- No document content collection of any kind.
- No password storage (sign-in uses one-time email codes).
5. Data retention & deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, email mrhoangblue@gmail.com from the registered address; we will delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep for accounting/legal reasons (e.g. confirmed payment records).
6. Children
BlueMath is intended for teachers, students, and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Using the add-in requires signing in with an email address, so accounts should be created by users aged 13 or older (or under school/parental supervision).
